Sibale shines on Karonga United debut

Karonga United new signing, Godfrey Sibale, scored in just seconds of his debut and later claimed the player of the match as he helped the team to a 3-1 win over Moyale Barracks at the Karonga Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The player was announced by the team in the mid-week after putting an impressive performance for Chatoloma ADMARC to inspire them to a 5-3 win on penalties to knock out Karonga United in FDH Bank Cup.

Sibale scored in just seconds before Allen Chihana and Winford Mwale scoring for the team while Lesmann Singini got a consolation for Moyale to begin the second round with a win.

After the game, Head coach for the team Oscar Kaunda hailed the players for the outstanding performance in the game.

"It was a tough game as Moyale also came here to win and gave us a good game but I have to salute the boys for the wonderful performance today and scoring three goals today." Said Kaunda.
