"I enjoyed watching the game" - Ikwanga

Chitipa United head coach, Kondwa Ikwanga, hailed his team and Karonga United for displaying good football and said he enjoyed watching both teams playing.

He said this after the teams faced each other in a game which ended goalless at the Karonga Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the TNM Super League.

He said Karonga United's defeat against Kamuzu Barracks last week was just a fluke as the team plays good football and his team also played very well.

"It was a tough game as we are coming from a win and Karonga come from a loss so they wanted to win and have played good football to prove that their defeat was just a fluke and we also played so well. It was a good game and I enjoyed watching it." Said Ikwanga.

The team has now gone five games without tasting a defeat or conceding a goal which has helped the team to move up to 14 points in 12 games.
