Stars claim second straight win in NDL
Ndirande Stars recorded their second consecutive win of the season after beating Ntaja United 1-0 thanks to a Mayamiko Makasu's first half strike at the Mpira Stadium on Saturday.
Stars now rise up to 8 points from two veins, two draws and three defeats on position 9 while Ntaja United drop to 7th with 10 points from three wins, one draw and three defeats in the League.
Assistant coach for Ndirande Stars, Robert Daudi, was happy with the win and hopes his team will maintain their current performance in the forthcoming matches.
"I'm very happy to record our second victory and we believe that wins have started at our teams so we will keep on working hard as we are happy with his we are performing now." Said Daudi.
However, Chisomo Kamlanje of Ntaja United conceded the defeat but said they will try to fix things so that they start performing better again.
"It happens in football, we are passing in hard times now but we will try to sort this
out and come back stronger." Said Kamlanje.
The win took Ndirande up to 8th with 8 points from 7 games while Ntaja sit 7th with 10 points from 7 games.
