Temwa scores 8th goal of the season

Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga, netted her 8th goal of the season as Kansas City Current beat Racing Louisville FC 4-2 in the National Women's Soccer league in USA this morning.

Chawinga was given a ball to chase when a defender was ahead of her but she managed to get the ball and beat two defenders together with the goalkeeper before scoring on 95th minute.

The goal means she is now a goal behind the top scorer, Esther Gonzalez Rodriguez of Gotham FC and level with Barbra Banda of Orlando Pride.

Her team still leads the table with 30 points from 12 games, five points above Orlando Pride in the League.
