Tigers kills Crocodile to bank second win
Grayson Msowoya's lone goal in first minute of the second half was enough for Mighty Tigers to claim their second win of the season after beating Karonga United 0-1 at the Karonga Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After a barren draw in the first 45 minutes, the Kaukau boys stroke in the 46th minute then defended the goal as the defense led by man of the match, Alex Kambirinya and captain Kelvin Banda managed to hold the on-form Karonga United striking force.
Head coach for the team, Leo Mpulula, described the win as a relief for the team as it will bring back life into the squad.
"It was a tough match but we worked us because we are coming from a poor run if results where we have started badly this season but the boys knew what it means, they played according to instructions and we depart with three points." Said Mpulula.
