Chipiku Stores hikes Central Region sponsorship

Chipiku Stores which sponsors the Central Region Football League have announced the hiking of the sponsorship package to K25 million from K19.8 million in the current season.

The announcement was made on Friday during a Press briefing at Central Region Football Association offices at the Bingu National Stadium.

The Chipiku Stores regional Administrator, Brown Mkangama, said their company is committed to the development of Football in the country and also happy with the relationship between them and the Association.

Meanwhile, CRFA General Secretary, Antonio Manda described the increment as timely saying it will boost the competition amongst the teams.

"We thank Chipiku because our partnership has been long and good so we hope for more competition this year than the past years." He said.

The champions of this year's tournament will get K8 million from K5 million last year with runners-up getting K3 million, third placed team wil
