Chelsea Women put City to a dagger in a classy comeback
Chelsea Women were on a blink of being knocked out of the UEFA Women's Champions League as they were trailing by two goals scored by Manchester City Women in the first League last week.
The Blues however needed 45 minutes to seal a comeback and progress through to the semi finals of the tournament where they will face defending Champions, Barcelona Women.
French left back, Sandy Baltimore pulled one back on aggregate with a fine finish on the 17th minute before center back Nathalie Bjorn levelling the ties 2-2 on aggregate on 38th minute and Mayra Ramirez scored a beauty to put the Blues 3-2 ahead on aggregate.
The second half yielded no goals meaning yh e Blues completed the semi final slot of the competition and will face Barca which stubbed Germany side, Wolfsburg 10-2 on aggregate.
In another semi final tie, Arsenal will face French giants and last year's finalists, Olympic Lyonnais where Tabitha Chawinga plays.
