Flames depart Thursday to Saudi Arabia

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has confirmed that the team will camp in Saudi Arabia ahead of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in January.

According to FAM General Secretary Alfred Gunda, the trip is funded by Saudi Arabia Football Association.

Meanwhile Flames Technical Director who is leading the team at AFCON, Marian Mario Marinica is yet to release the final squad travelling to the tournament.
