"We could have scored three four five goals" - Pasuwa
Flames head coach Kalisto Pasuwa said his team missed many chances that could have made the team win by a huge margin but he is happy as he wanted to win against Namibia.
He said this after recording their third win in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers by beating Namibia 1-2 away in Botswana on Friday afternoon.
He said the team played well in the match as they used several tactics to unlock the team and was happy to claim the win.
"We played very well today and you could see we kept the ball away from the opponents and at times we tried to catch them from the breaks and I saw them attacking with 6 players towards the end of the first half and I think we could have scored three four five goals but we missed." Said Pasuwa.
He said the players need to boost up their confidence on shooting on goal as it was only Gabadinho Mhango who was shooting on goal.
Malawi have 9 points from three wins and four defeats on position 5.
