"The referee gave Karonga a win" - Kananji

Creck Sporting Club head coach, Eliya Kananji, said his team lost against Karonga United because the referee awarded a dubious penalty to the hosts and gave two questionable red cards to his players only to help Karonga win.

He said this after his team lost 1-0 to Karonga United courtesy of a Patrick Phiri's penalty goal and Kananji quickly attributed the loss to referee's favouritism to the hosts.

"I have to thank my boys for playing well mostly in the second half where we gave ourselves but the referee awarded them a dubious penalty because my defender cleared the ball and also when the players were complaining, he gave them red cards, two of them." Cried Kananji.

Meanwhile, he said it is not looking good for the team now as they are dropping more points contrary to how things should be at the team but they will try hard to set things right.
